| About | Located in the heart of West Philadelphia, Philafunk Live is a 12,000 square foot performance arts complex dedicated to providing entertainment of the highest value while giving independent artists and independent record companies an opportunity to be seen and heard. Located in the Historic Bell Telephone Exchange Building (listed in the National Register of Historic Places) at 8 North Preston Street in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, Philafunk Live features a 3,000 square foot entertainment venue, a world class recording studio, a live recording room, and offices. The studio provides up-and-coming independent record companies and artists with affordable state of the art audio and video recording capabilties. Upcoming Philafunk Live performances will soon be video-taped and made available for your free downloaded viewing pleasure. Rock, Jazz and Poetry nights are BYOB and BYOB retailers are close by.
